Joined Stripe Projects as a launch partner, embedding service deployment and billing inside Stripe.
This collapses two traditionally separate buyer workflows — communications/API setup and payment processing — into a single surface, which compresses the vendor evaluation and procurement process for buyers building paid services. Competitors in the CPaaS or billing infrastructure space now face a distribution disadvantage: Twilio gets native placement inside Stripe's checkout-adjacent workflow where buying intent is already highest. Bootstrapped SaaS tools in either category should watch whether Stripe Projects becomes a de facto GTM channel that advantages embedded partners.
When a platform embeds inside a billing surface, it stops competing on features and starts competing on activation speed.
